This is coach approx 40 foot. This coach is an American Eagle 40ft with a slide out room and a Cummins diesel engine. This coach is NOT nice, it does need some TLC. It also appears to have had a cat in the coach. The dash and 2 front captains chairs appear to have cat pricks. Personally, we have not noticed any cat or animal smells. But, if you are super sensitive, you might smell something, but again, we have not. This RV was just driven nearly 600 miles with no trouble. This RV is pretty easy to drive. Only a regular driver's license is required to drive this coach. There are 2 roof AC units that both work. The engine or dash AC also blows cool air. The 300hp Cummins DIESEL engine runs as it should, no problems. The Allison 6 speed automatic overdrive transmission shifts great also, no problems. An Onan diesel generator is in good working condition. There is a fridge / freezer that works on LP gas or electric. According to Nada, in 1997, the American Eagle does NOT have a slide. If you look up a 1998, the American Eagle does have a slide. According to Nada, the price for a 1998 with a slide is approx $80k with a few options. Over the past 12 years I can not guarantee there has never been a leak, currently we have not seen any leaks. We liquidate our inventory and only do a basic mechanical check out. We sold over 350 units in 2008.We are selling them because we are CHEAP. So we are unable to take enough time to completely check out every thing on each unit. We will make sure the engine, transmission, over head air conditioner, refrigerator, and the generator operate normally (if/when applicable). These are the items most people are concerned with. We will also preform a basic check on the drivetrain, which consist of a test drive to determine if the engine transmission and brakes seem to perform properly. We will repair what is necessary. The REST is up to you!! The tires have good tread 22.5 inch Aluminium Alcoa type wheels. The tires look decent. The carpet looks good as you can see in the pictures. There might be a stain or two but nothing to be concerned about. This coach has a 50 amp power cord hook up from the factory. Also, the 'curtains' or blinds are usually 'tattered' and worn on these older units.
